Product Information

Product quality and small-batch care

All of our candles, reed diffusers, scented oils and wax melts are handcrafted in small batches to guarantee consistent quality and attention to detail every time. We test every product before it goes on sale so you get reliably great performance and fragrance.

Candles

All candles are poured using natural soy wax and premium fragrance oils at the optimum temperature for maximum scent throw and clean burning. Each candle is thoroughly tested to make sure it meets our quality standards before it reaches you.

  • Natural wax characteristics: Soy wax can develop a light “frosting” or bloom on the surface and occasional pull-away from the glass as it cools. These are normal, cosmetic effects of natural wax and do not affect burn quality or scent throw.
  • Cold-weather note: Pull-away is more likely after exposure to cold; placing the candle somewhere warmer typically reduces or removes it.
  • Ongoing improvement: Our formulation minimises frosting and pull-away for a smooth finish on most fragrances; we continue refining harder-to-stabilise scents.

See our candle guide for tips on getting the best performance and fragrance throw, especially for the all-important first burn.

Reed Diffusers

Our reed diffusers use a bio-based solvent from renewable sources blended with the same high-quality fragrance oils we use in our candles.

  • Reeds: We use fibre reeds because their capillary action pairs best with our formula for consistent diffusion.
  • Longevity: A 100 ml diffuser typically lasts 10–12 weeks, often longer depending on placement and airflow.
  • Quality testing: Each diffuser is tested to ensure an even diffusion rate and reliable scent throw throughout its life.

See our reed diffuser guide for tips on placement and maintenance to maximise longevity and fragrance performance.

Wax Melts

Our wax melts are made from soy wax and scented with the same premium fragrance oils as our candles.

  • Compatibility: Suitable for both tealight oil burners and electric warmers.
  • Performance: They offer long-lasting fragrance throw and excellent longevity when used correctly.
  • Care: To swap scents, allow the wax to cool, pop it out, wipe the dish clean, and reuse it—your burner will be as good as new.

See our wax melt guide for advice on burner capacity and safe, effective use.

Scented Oils

Our scented oils are blended in-house using the same premium fragrances as our reed diffusers.

  • Use: Suitable for oil burners and many electric aroma diffusers; we recommend a traditional tealight oil burner for the best, controllable scent release.
  • Ethics: Our scented oils are cruelty free and not tested on animals.
  • Tip: Add a few drops to the water reservoir of compatible aroma diffusers to fragrance the mist.
